Alcoholic Beverage License. The Police Department recommends issuance of an alcoholic beverage license for the retail sale for consumption on premises of beer and wine to Antoine Chebib for Lawrence’s Café, 910 West College Avenue.
Oakhurst Land Ventures, LLC requests rezoning of the property at 712 West College Avenue from R-60 Single Family Residential to C-1 Local Commercial and approval of exceptions to the Special Pedestrian Area requirements for C1 Local Commercial. The Planning Commission recommends approval of the rezoning request and denial of the request for exceptions.
Sunset Financial, LLC has requested approval of a residential planned unit development at 1004 Clairemont Avenue. The Planning Commission recommends approval of a residential planned unit development subject to conditions.

The City of Decatur requests that the land use designation of the southern 3.75 acres of the property located at 400 West Trinity Place be changed from RM-Medium Density Residential to I-Institutional. Due to a lack of quorum the Planning Commission did not issue a recommendation. D. The City of Decatur requests that the southern 3.75 acres of the property located at 400 West Trinity Place be rezoned from HDSF-High Density Single Family Residential to I-Institutional; and, requests approval of a new comprehensive site development plan at 400 West Trinity Place. Due to a lack of quorum the Planning Commission did not issue a recommendation.
The City of Decatur requests consideration of amendments to the text of the zoning ordinance related to front yard setbacks, definitions of basement, establishment of floor area regulations and similar standards; conditional approval of variances and other appeals; and other development standards. The Planning Commission recommends approval of the ordinance changes as amended.

Recommend approval of Resolution R-12-XX approving issuance of sales tax bonds for capital improvement projects for City Schools of Decatur.
Purchase of a Fire Pumper. Recommend accepting a bid from Williams Fire Apparatus in the amount of $693,837.22 for a new fire pumper.
Purchase of E-911 Call Handler Equipment. Recommend purchase of a Positron Viper E911 call handling system and authorization to use 60-month lease purchase financing.
Approval of Construction Budget and Award of Bid. Recommend establishment of a construction budget of $1,665,500 and award of a contract in the amount of $1,290,369 to Reeves Contracting Company for the Downtown Decatur Storm Drainage improvements.
