Planning Commission Recommendations. The City of Decatur requests consideration of amendments to the text of the zoning ordinance related to definitions of demolition and other development standards. Recommend tabling consideration until the May 19, 2014 City Commission Meeting.
Public Comment on Agenda Action Items. The public is invited to comment on agenda action items other than for “Requests and Petitions” and “Reports and Other Business.” Public comments that relate to “Requests and Petitions” will be heard later in the meeting.
Ordinance Amending Chapter A. 98, Traffic and Vehicles. Ordinance O-14-XX amends Chapter 98, Traffic and Vehicles by replacing Sections 98-148(a) Enumeration of On-System Zones and 98-149 (a) Enumeration of Off-System Zones and adding Section 98-150 Enumeration of Residential District Speed Zones.
Resolution Supporting Decatur Housing Authority’s Application for Low Income Housing Credits. Resolution R-14-XX supports the Decatur Housing Authority’s application for low income housing tax credits for Trinity Walk Phase I.
Resolution for Construction of Downtown Streetscapes Improvements. Resolution R-14-BB confirms the availability of local matching funds and authorizes the Mayor to execute agreements with the Georgia Department of Transportation for funding of Phase V of the Downtown Streetscapes Improvements.
Change Order No. 5 – Beacon Municipal Center. Recommend approval of a change order in the amount of $224,000 for construction changes at the Beacon Municipal Center.
